Renewed TORUM 770 Grain Harvester at a Glance
Rostselmash has put into series production a new version of the combine with rotor-type threshing and separating system, TORUM 770.
The machine received a new conveyor feeder house with an outlet accelerator beater with a 4,500kg lift capacity and a doubled power capacity to drive headers. This allows the machine to handle wider attachments. Attachments can be locked using one lever, and header tilt angle can be changed.
Also, modifications have been made to the proprietary Advanced Rotor System thresher/seprator and cleaning system. The double-inlet rotor has now 8 rasp bars in the threshing portion for a slower flow of crop material and more thorough threshing, providing up to 75% of grain separated already at this stage. The proprietary rotating concave for TORUM 785 is used in a heavy-duty style. The grain elevators of the cleaning system can now handle up to 100 tons per hour for a greater productivity when operating in row crops.
Unloading has become more flexible. This can now be done behind the machine making it easier to work in pair with a storage hopper, and a valve has been added to prevent grain spillage when the auger is folded. The unload rate has increased to 120 L/sec.
Improved have been the engine, traction system and drivetrain. TORUM 770 comes with a 506 HP Mercedes engine. With the new hydrostatic transmission, the machine can move uphill with a full grain tank. The axles are configured so that the machine can be equipped with tracks or duals without removing the axles.
The combine comes with Luxury Cab II with improved configuration. The machine has additional work lights, and power heated mirrors.
